General Description:

This is a 4/10 schedule in the Marathon Refinery. You will need to pass a 7-year federal background check, and pre-employment and random HAIR FOLLICLE drug tests.

CCI’s mission is to provide quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development companies.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

• Ensures a safe work environment.
• Purchases, stores, and issues spare parts for motor vehicles or industrial equipment by performing the following duties.
• Obtains description of items needed from mechanic.
• Operate light to medium weight vehicles and forklifts to move material, pick up and transport materials in the field, and move materials by hand onto shelves, pallets, etc.
• Assist in loading and unloading of material and equipment for mobilization. Knowledge of load securement practices.
• Compares invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received.
• Stores purchased parts in storeroom bins and issues parts to workers upon request.
• Keeps records of parts received and issued, and inventories parts in storeroom periodically.
• Requisitions parts from central parts department.
Other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and severe outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles in a mechanical shop environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing protection and the use of safety eyewear is required in most working situations.
