| Position Summary | The Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of New Mexico invites applications for a full time, 9-month appointment Open Rank Lecturer II or III to begin August 10, 2026. The department seeks to hire a generalist in Speech-Language Pathology. Specifically, the department seeks a Lecturer II or III with (a) knowledge and experience to teach undergraduate courses in the Speech and Hearing Sciences major, (b) knowledge and experience to teach graduate courses for the Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology program, (c) provide clinical supervision of graduate students in our clinic, and (d) clinical experience across a breadth of areas of speech-language pathology. In addition, the successful candidate will be a certified speech-language pathologist who is eligible for a license in speech-language pathology in the state of New Mexico. The selected candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses as needed and provide clinical supervision in our university training clinic. Per UNM policy, all Lecturers are reviewed annually. Workload is determined by the department Chair and University policies. The candidate is expected to contribute to our department’s mission and strategic plan.
