The Labor Analyst is a data-driven and strategic role that supports workforce optimization across our healthcare operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that staffing levels align with patient care needs, regulatory requirements, and financial goals. This position collaborates with operational and clinical leaders to develop labor models, identify and create performance improvement initiatives, and support data-driven decision making to enhance efficiency and care quality.
Responsibilities
- Analyze labor utilization, productivity metrics, and staffing patterns across clinical and non-clinical departments.
- Develop labor standards and productivity benchmarks tailored to healthcare settings (e.g., nursing units, outpatient clinics, ancillary services).
- Collaborate with nursing leadership, HR, finance, and operations to align labor strategies with patient volume and acuity.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to labor costs, efficiency, and utilization.
- Assist in the implementation of labor management systems and tools.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across labor-related systems and reports.
- Conduct variance analysis and root cause investigations for labor inefficiencies.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, staffing models, and regulatory frameworks,
- Manage productivity reporting in Axiom.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, Health Care Required
Minimum Work Experience
- 3 years Labor analysis, productivity analysis, operations, or workforce planning in a healthcare setting Required
