Description

Proof of the Pudding is an award-winning catering company throughout the Southeast with a commitment to creating quality culinary concepts from scratch. This standard was upheld through the expansion into Sports and Entertainment Hospitality Services by providing elevated concessions and premium offerings to collegiate stadiums, PGA golf tournaments, International Boat Shows, Professional Sports Teams, & more.

We are seeking an experienced AP Specialist with 2+ years of full-cycle AP experience, including invoice processing, payments, and statement reconciliation. Experience with Sage Intacct or Ottimate/Plate IQ is preferable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Weekly

  • Manage invoice processing for your locations
  • Review invoices in the A/P System for proper coding
  • Scan invoices as received for proper approvals in the A/P System
  • Ensure that invoices entered into the system are routed for approval
  • Generate weekly check run report and route to CFO and President for approval
  • Print A/P checks for assigned business centers
  • Post invoices as paid for certain types of payments outside of the A/P System
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
  • Resolve any vendor inquiries related to open invoices and payment status
  • Review Weekly vendor statements and reconcile to the A/P system
    • Obtain any missing invoices and process in the A/P system for approvals

As Needed

  • Setup new vendors in Sage Intacct and Ottimate (formerly PlateIQ)
  • Assist with special projects as necessary

Performs other related duties as needed.

Qualifications


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of full-cycle AP experience
  • Proficiency in Sage Intacct or Ottimate/Plate IQ
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

SPECIALTY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Self-starter

Work Environment 

This position will mainly consist of in-office work which entails computer usage, inter-departmental meetings and communications. This position’s duties may change based upon business needs and/or busy event schedules.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Position Salary & Benefits:

  • This is considered a part-time hourly position, rate is $25/hr.
