Team Leader Fruit Pack bei 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC

The Team Leader in the Lidding area will supervise crews up to 18 employees and ensure adequate training is provided for all the line staff.  This position is responsible for the quality and accuracy of the work performed by the crew.  The Team Leader is also accountable for inventories of all components associated with the gift being produced, accurate and timely record keeping, including production paperwork, reject paperwork, employee documents and timekeeping.  The Team Leader will also be required to perform as a back up to the Shift Supervisor.

• Must understand established safety/quality standards and the ability to communicate them.
• Good problem solving and decision-making skills are essential.
• Production experience, PC skills and Systems Application in Data Processing (SAP) – not required of my team leaders are a plus.
• Must be able to withstand a production environment with exposure to food allergens, dust and varying temperatures.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines with accurate and detailed results.
• Physical requirements including standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting to 50 lbs.
• Must be flexible with regards to schedule and job assignments. Hours and days may change based on production needs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required to interact effectively with different authority levels and personnel.
