IMS Care Center is currently searching for a Director of Human Resources for our corporate office located in Northeast Phoenix. The Director of Human Resources (HR) provides strategic leadership, subject matter expertise, and daily management of the full scope of HR functions to include talent management, benefits administration, performance management, compensation, employee relations, etc. Responsible for establishing, executing, and enforcing human resources policies, procedures, and best practices while continuously evaluating legal compliance. Maintains the privacy and confidentiality of all information and protects the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with executive leadership to define short and long-term strategies and goals. Develops and executes initiatives to achieve strategic goals through HR policy, talent acquisition, employee engagement, leadership development, retention, and budget control.
- Develops, maintains, and executes HR policies, procedures and related forms.
- Ensures compliance of all human resources records including Form I-9s, E-Verify, and record retention.
- Manages employee relations issues in collaboration with leaders and functions as primary lead on investigations; advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Supervise, motivate and develop a team of dedicated HR professionals; encourage their growth in skills, knowledge and professional standing.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws affecting employment, such as antidiscrimination, sexual harassment, labor relations, privacy and OSHA.
- Analyze wage and salary data to determine competitive compensation plans. Implement and maintain the compensation program. Conduct and participate in salary surveys.
- Identifies key performance indicators (KPIs) for the organization's human resource and talent management functions and ensures KPIs are achieved. Assesses the organization's success and market competitiveness based on these KPIs.
- Review benefits plan design and performance with benefits broker, ensuring plan supports IMS objectives and employee needs and develops strategy to change offerings as needed to achieve these goals; serves as the primary benefits administrator.
- Partner with leadership and employees to increase employee engagement with the ultimate goal of higher employee morale, productivity, and retention.
- Serves as a change agent for the organization.
- Drive and support an open and inclusive culture that embraces individual difference.
- Administer company social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) to strengthen our online reputation, build a stronger community of “A-Player” candidates, and increase employee engagement.
- Serves as 401k administrator, to include submitting bi-weekly 401k files, prepare annual reports for auditors, and ensure compliance with all ERISA legislation.
- Responsible, in conjunction with legal counsel, for administration and oversight of all IMS employees on work visa’s (PERM, H1-B, J-1 waiver).
- Responsible for creating all provider and independent contractor agreements and monitoring them for any necessary updates
- Builds data-driven business cases and ROI assessments to introduce and execute scalable programs and solutions that achieve business objectives.
- Continually evaluates, enhances, and executes the performance management, talent management (to include new hire orientation), wellness, leadership training and recognition programs to ensure they align with IMS goals and strategic vision.
- Successfully manages a broad portfolio of vendor partners to deliver HR value to the business.
- Stays abreast of changes in laws, regulations, policies, and programs relevant to employee relations and employment practices, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and Company policies.
- Serves as the liaison for MICA and other insurance carriers.
- Responsible for invoice approvals and the human resources expense management and budget.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

- Experience working with HRIS Systems
- Possesses strong work ethic and integrity and protects the confidentiality of the organization
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management, public administration, business, or education
- 8-10 years’ progressive experience in human resource management
- HRCI and/or SHRM Certification Preferred
