Job Summary
SummaryResponsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of workforce development programs and initiatives.
Essential Functions
-Develop and execute a strategic workforce development plan aligned with organizational goals and healthcare industry trends.
-Collaborate with stakeholders to identify current and future workforce needs and align development initiatives with organizational objectives.
-Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in healthcare workforce development.
-Conduct learning needs assessments to identify knowledge and skills gaps among healthcare personnel.
-Collaborate with subject matter experts, department heads, and HR teams to gather input and prioritize learning needs.
-Analyze data and feedback to determine appropriate training and development interventions.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Human Resources Management or Related Field of Study required
- Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
Experience
- Experience in workforce development, training and development, or a related role within the healthcare or education sector. 5-7 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- - Proven experience in designing and implementing workforce development programs, including needs assessment, program design, and evaluation.
- - Strong knowledge of workforce development principles, adult learning theories, and instructional design methodologies.
- - Familiarity with healthcare industry dynamics, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- - Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple initiatives.
- - Effective leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
