Do you excel at designing and integrating complex systems that support critical missions? Join PEMCCO as a Senior Systems Engineer, where you’ll provide expert leadership in developing, integrating, and sustaining enterprise solutions within a Zero-Trust and mission-engineering framework. In this role, you’ll ensure requirements, interfaces, and performance baselines are fully defined, validated, and traceable across all lifecycle phases, enabling secure, interoperable systems that support mission success.

Essential Functions 

    • Develop and maintain requirements decomposition and verification matrices.
    • Produce system and subsystem Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
    • Lead Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo or DOORS.
    • Conduct trade-off and architecture-analysis studies supporting modernization.
    • Integrate cybersecurity and ZTA controls into system designs.
    • Coordinate design reviews, configuration audits, and test readiness events.
    • Support AoA development and technical risk management.
    • Prepare Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMPs) and technical data packages.
    • Provide technical mentoring and peer review across engineering teams.

    Competencies   

      • Expertise in DoD SE processes, MBSE tools, and digital-thread methods.
      • Ability to analyze complex system interactions and mission dependencies.
      • Strong communication and documentation skills for government audiences.

        Required Qualifications

          • Bachelor’s in Systems, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
          • Ten (10)+ years of systems-engineering experience executing related tasks.
          • Active TS/SCI clearance.


          Preferred Qualifications

              • INCOSE CSEP or ESEP certification.
              • Master’s in Systems Engineering.

              Compensation
              •   $90 – $145 hourly, depending on experience, ability, and capability.
