How will you make an impact in this role?
Reporting into the VP, Sales-Assisted Onboarding, the Director, Global & Large (G&L)/International Card Services (ICS) Sales-Assisted Corporate Journey will lead the modernization of global onboarding capabilities supporting G&L, and ICS markets and partnering with strategic teams across G&L and ICS as well as delivery teams in Technology, Risk and Product. The role will drive strategy and execution for sales-assisted experiences across multiple regions, advancing scalability, compliance, and client satisfaction. It will oversee the evolution of the client self-service portal and internal Sales tool (DASH), strengthen third-party onboarding frameworks, and embed analytics-driven insights that enhance transparency and operational performance. The role will connect global architecture, local market delivery, and enterprise strategy to ensure Amex continues to deliver world-class onboarding experiences across every channel.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end transformation of global and local (G&L/ICS) sales-assisted onboarding journeys, driving alignment with enterprise onboarding standards
Partner on the globalization strategy and execution of the program, ensuring consistency and control across regions
Oversee strategic project delivery for US Large Market and maintain future-state readiness for ongoing channel modernization
Manage DASH, company setup and client self-service portal initiatives to support sales-assisted functions across G&L and ICS
Drive modernization of legacy systems, ensuring readiness of the global offering, integration with enterprise onboarding systems, and enhanced control adherence
Partner with ICS Center of Excellence (COE) and regional teams to define and execute third-party onboarding strategies, ensuring operational readiness and scalability
Drive end-to-end architectural alignment, enabling cross-channel scalability, system integration, and unified onboarding frameworks
Advance analytics and reporting enablement to deliver actionable insights that enhance onboarding throughput, speed, and compliance visibility
Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, Tech, Design, and Risk to deliver seamless onboarding solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and regulatory standards
Strengthen governance and control adherence through proactive issue management, audit readiness, and operational discipline
Champion process automation and digital enablement to reduce manual intervention, streamline customer onboarding, and improve global reporting efficiency
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in product management, client onboarding, or digital transformation within financial services or technology organizations
Proven ability to lead multi-market and global initiatives involving complex stakeholder alignment and cross-regional execution
Deep understanding of compliance, KYC/AML frameworks, and third-party risk management
Demonstrated success in building partnerships across enterprises, including Technology, Risk, and Design, to deliver integrated client experiences
Exceptional people leadership skills, with a proven ability to develop, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams while fostering accountability, collaboration, and career growth
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and drive alignment across global business and technology teams
Experience operating in a matrixed enterprise environment with strong execution discipline and operational rigor
Bachelor's degree
