Join PEMCCO as a Cyber Operations Manager, where you’ll lead daily defensive operations, incident response efforts, and enterprise-wide network security activities. In this role, you’ll oversee multiple mission enclaves, guide coordinated cybersecurity actions, and embed Zero-Trust Architecture principles into every aspect of monitoring and operational execution, keeping critical environments protected and resilient.

Essential Functions 

    • Direct Security Operations Center (SOC) and Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) activities.
    • Develop and enforce incident-response playbooks and escalation protocols.
    • Coordinate vulnerability management and patch deployment.
    • Integrate intelligence feeds for threat detection and early warning.
    • Manage cyber tool suites, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and SOAR platforms.
    • Supervise analysts and engineers, ensuring 24/7 situational awareness.
    • Produce executive-level operational metrics and cyber risk dashboards.
    • Ensure compliance with DoD 8500, CJCSM 6510, and NIST SP 800-207.
    • Lead after-action reviews and root-cause analysis following incidents.

    Competencies   

      • Deep understanding of cyber defense frameworks and SOC operations.
      • Leadership and decision-making under pressure.
      • Familiarity with Splunk, ArcSight, and Elastic SIEM environments.

        Required Qualifications

          • Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Assurance.
          • Ten (10)+ years of cyber operations experience with five (5)+ years in management.
          • Active TS/SCI clearance; DoD 8570 IAM III certification.

          Preferred Qualifications

              • GIAC GCIA / GCIH or CISM.

              Compensation
              •   $90 – $150 hourly, depending on experience, ability, and capability.
