Transportation Analyst 2nd shift

Are you ready to be part of a dynamic team in charge of North American and international inbound transportation operations? Located at BRP's center of expertise, the team's main mission is to ensure that the transportation of raw materials is carried out optimally to supply our assembly plants and our distribution center within the agreed deadlines and while optimizing the costs related to logistics. The department is also responsible for contributing to product development activities and manufacturing strategy, as well as supporting the logistics teams located in our manufacturing sites with multiple tactical and strategic issues.
 

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Import/Export: processing in time windows as planned with priority in urgency to meet production schedules.
Coordinate the process in daily bases with cross functional as carriers, warehouse, brokers and 3PL.
Manage and control over 200 dry boxes and containers for Import/Export load and empties to return on a daily basis.
Identify, establish and maintain transportation department Key Performance Indicators and logistics reports.
Control access to the external yards and monitor the traffic flow.
Develop transportation working instructions.
Work hand to hand with the financial area to validate operational cost vs invoicing. 
Support on Complemento Carta Porte template creation.
Close follow up on urgent material of Cross Border operation.
Manage crossing incidents (delays, detention, inspection) and propose solutions to minimize the impacts.
Lead and participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives to gain efficiency.
Provide support in various initiatives, cost saving projects and other projects as requested.
Prepare and distribute various live logistics reports.
Maintain constant communication with our customers to prioritize critical shipments.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
University or college education in engineering, logistics management, administration or any other relevant field.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing or transportation environment, with relevant experience in inbound logistics (transportation, materials planning, industrial engineering, etc.).
Solid knowledge of Excel (data processing), 
Knowledge of Transport Management Systems (TMS) and databases (SQL, Access) is an advantage
Full professional proficiency in English is required; French and Spanish are considered assets.
SAP Knowledge is an advantage
