Salary: £29,828.60 per annum + achievable legal compliance bonus of £1,920

Role Overview

Wincanton is recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our team working on the Wickes contract in Huddersfield.

• Hours: 39 hours per week (annualised contract of 2,028 hours per year)
• Working Pattern: 5 out of 6 days (Monday to Saturday)
• Start Time: 07:00
• Training: ALLMI HIAB training provided for suitable candidates without a HIAB licence
• Experience: Inexperienced drivers are welcome to apply

• Accurate and timely multi-drop and direct delivery of customer products
• Adhering to safe working practices to ensure safety for yourself and others
• Flexibility with start times based on business needs
• Compliance with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive legislation
• Maintaining cleanliness of the truck

Experience and Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Full Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• HIAB licence (ALLMI or equivalent) is an advantage but not essential
• Previous customer-facing experience is an advantage
• Positive and flexible attitude

• Good timekeeping and ability to work unsupervised
