Description

 

Summary: Plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of Wildwood Programs services and records by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Conducts program and fiscal audits as assigned by the Director and Assistant Director.
  • Conducts inspection and analysis of required documentation to assure adherence to program and regulatory compliance.(e.g. Individual Service Plans, Habilitation Plans)
  • Conducts routine internal billing audits for Medicaid funded services.
  • Conducts internal program reviews including but not limited to regulatory audits, POCA verifications, and other program-specific reviews.
  • Identifies deficits, errors and breakdowns during Quality Assurance activities and recommends improvements to program administration and the Director/Assistant Director.
  • Writes reports of audit activities
  • Maintains a working knowledge of regulations and agency quality assurance standards.
  • Under the guidance of the Director and Assistant Director conducts incident investigations.
  • Assists in providing technical assistance to employees on regulatory compliance.
  • Serves as a resource in providing education and training on quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
  • Participates as a member of the Quality Assurance Committee and other committees and work groups as assigned.
  • Assists Director and Assistant Director with other Quality Assurance activities as needed.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a regionally accredited two-year college or technical school; at least three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of stakeholders or employees of the organization.

 

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

 

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Internet, and Database software.
