The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President (VP) of Product to join OrthoFi’s executive leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, customer-centric leader with a proven track record of defining and delivering multi-year product strategies in SaaS or technology-enabled service environments. The VP of Product will lead a team of product directors, managers, and product owners to define, design, and execute a cohesive product vision that drives company growth, operational excellence, and customer delight.

The Value You Bring

Product Vision & Strategy

  • Define and execute a 2–5-year product strategy that directly supports OrthoFi’s goals for growth, profitability, and “Raving Fan” customer satisfaction.
  • Translate company vision into a multi-horizon roadmap balancing innovation, scalability, and operational reliability.
  • Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to ensure product strategy informs company strategy, influencing how OrthoFi grows and competes.
  • Establish and track key performance metrics for product success — adoption, engagement, NPS, margin contribution, and Rule-of-40 impact.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product leaders, fostering a culture of clarity, accountability, and innovation.
  • Build leadership capability across the product organization — elevating strategic thinking, market insight, and ownership mindset.
  • Attract and retain top product talent capable of operating at both strategic and executional levels.

Cross-Functional Influence & Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure product direction is executable, scalable, and aligned to customer value.
  • Champion healthy cross-functional collaboration between Product, Engineering, and Operations to optimize outcomes and speed to market.
  • Influence go-to-market strategies and ensure smooth alignment between product delivery, customer adoption, and revenue realization.

Customer & Market Insight

  • Embed voice-of-customer, data analytics, and market feedback loops into every major decision.
  • Translate complex customer insights and market trends into clear, actionable product opportunities that drive adoption and retention.
  • Maintain a disciplined balance between customer requests, strategic focus, and scalable innovation.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Champion a culture of innovation grounded in learning, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Shape the company’s AI strategy—integrating automation, data intelligence, and machine learning into both our product roadmap and operating model to drive innovation, efficiency, and market differentiation.
  • Anticipate risks, dependencies, and emerging technologies — ensuring the product portfolio remains agile, relevant, and competitive.

Execution & Accountability

  • Drive disciplined prioritization — making clear tradeoffs between strategic, customer, and operational priorities.
  • Oversee end-to-end lifecycle management: concept, MVP, launch, adoption, optimization, and sunset.
  • Ensure transparent communication of goals, outcomes, and lessons learned across teams and leadership. Ensure alignment between product vision, technical architecture, and operational delivery.

Skills and Expertise You Bring

  • At least 15+ years of progressive product management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (VP or equivalent) in SaaS or tech-enabled service companies.
  • Demonstrated success in defining and executing product strategies that deliver measurable business growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills — able to connect business outcomes with product strategy and execution.
  • Strong commercial acumen; proven ability to connect roadmap investments to P&L impact.
  • Experience leading through scaling phases in fast-paced, private-equity-backed or growth-stage environments.
  • Passion for innovation, operational excellence, and creating products that meaningfully impact customers and the business.
