PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to lead projects and mentor/coach all level techniciansMaintain the responsibilities and performance requirements within all fields of the Maintenance team including all requirements for Technician levels I, II, & IIIProvide and support site and corporate goals and strategic objectives with minimal directionDemonstrate and promote a respectful workplace environmentContinuous job-related training and current electrical license is required for this positionUnderstand, troubleshoot and problem solve issues of high complexity in advanced electrical/mechanical systems (PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC, etc.)Proficient at internal networks and MES equipment integrationAble to troubleshoot instruments and equipment using an oscilloscope and other advanced metering technologiesUnderstand functions, components and operating principles of protective relays, over-current relays, re-closing relays, voltage relays, auxiliary relays, solid-state relays, differential relays, distance relays, pilot wire relays and breaker failure relaysCapable to program PLC, HMI’s, Drives and Servo’s for new applicationsQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Utilize precision measuring equipment to perform root cause analysis on equipment. Understand function of tools and job specific applications per toolObserve and understand equipment sequence of operation and configuration to isolate failure and perform root cause analysisOrganizing and carrying out preventative maintenance programsUnderstand characteristics and operation of foreign industrial equipment, systems and their components, and the safety hazards associated with themEngineer process flows of equipment and the needs for productionUnderstand components and operation of various types of valves and valve actuators used in hydraulicMUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 2-yr technical degree in a related field or equivalent past work experienceAdvanced PC and electrical control competencies requiredAdvanced problem solving and analytical competencies, able to identify and predict failures and bring solutions to the problemNICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:Strong leadership skillsWilling to learnFlexible work schedulePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY:Must be able to stand for 8 hoursMust be able to lift 40 lbsSuccessful candidates in this role are expected to earn $40.85- $51.10 per hour.
