As a contracted Ophthalmologist or Optometrist with Leidos QTC Health Service, you will be responsible for performing a range of duties including:

  • Performing comprehensive, compensation and pension exams
  • The examinations must be conducted utilizing the Kinetic Perimetry Visual Field Test Equipment

  • Interpreting clinical data

    Required Qualifications:

    • MD or OD from an accredited university or college
    • Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience as an Ophthalmologist or Optometrist
    • Unrestricted State medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice
    • Perimetry requirements: Results must chart 16 meridians, 22.5 degrees apart for each eye and indicate the Goldman equivalent used
    • Provider must complete required online training courses
    • Completed Education and training in an US accredited college or university 
    • Ability to pass a medical clearance
    • Ability to pass a NACI clearance

    Work Schedule and Compensation:

    • Flexible Schedule: Appointments are typically scheduled approximately 5 to 7 days of notification. You set the pace and frequency!
    • Location: Garden City, GA (within 100 miles)
    • Compensation: Compensation will be provided for each examination, with payment determined based on the specific requirements and type of examination performed.
