Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Contract position supporting Integrated planning including demand (commercial) and supply (operations) planning / activity. This role will work with the Supply Chain Management team to implement the processes, systems, and data required to manage supply and production planning for all operations at TransMedics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Create Production Orders, Route Sheets, and additional documents needed by production
Ensure that manufacturing has all materials needed to begin work
Perform accurate Transactions in ERP system
Print Labels to issue into production for subassemblies & finished goods. Ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
Communicate any issues that arise that will potentially impact manufacturing activities, or inventory integrity
With keen focus on quality and accuracy, ensure that all work assignments meet corporate quality and regulatory requirements
Maintain individual work area /equipment in a neat orderly manner according to standards including proper disposal of packaging waste, proper storage and use of equipment and parts, and management of documentation needed to perform duties
Serve as strong team player, supporting and assisting supervisors and colleagues
Comply with all work safety rules and regulations
Recommend activities to promote continuous improvement and best practices
Perform other TransMedics tasks and duties as assigned/required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
3 years’ experience in a high-tech electro-mechanical assembly and/or material handling environment; previous assembly and/or material handling experience in a medical device manufacturing environment is preferred
Ability to follow written instructions or procedures such as mechanical assembly drawings and assembly or work instructions with minimal supervision
Must possess a strong work ethic, effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
Must be detail oriented and highly organized
Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent technical degree
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience processing or creating production orders is a plus
