Math Teacher Grades 7th/8th, Temporary en Essex Westford School District

Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity for a passionate educator to join the team at Essex Middle School (EMS) to teach 7th/8th Grade Math. It is anticipated that this role will begin in November 2025 and run through the remainder of the 25–26 school year.

This is a temporary position and the annual salary will be prorated to reflect the portion of the school year worked. 

EWSD is committed to considering out-of-state candidates who are eligible to hold a Vermont educator license but do not yet hold a license in this state.

• Hold (or be eligible to hold) a valid VT educator license with middle school math endorsement.

• Dedication to providing a safe and respectful learning environment for all students with an ability to understand and teach various learning styles.
• Knowledge in utilizing and integrating current technology to support instruction.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the student population being served and how demographic variables impact student achievement. Ability to use this knowledge to effectively design and deliver instruction.
