 What you can offer us: 

  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of new hardware and firmware products for Cathodic Protection and related application.  
  • Ensure launches are on time, on budget, and meet organizational quality standards. 
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships, including component suppliers, contract manufacturers, and testing labs to support prototyping and pilot. 
  • Drive cross-disciplinary project teams through all phases of the product lifecycle-from concept, design, and prototyping through pilot, product release, and launch. 
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and product management teams to ensure ISO compliance and readiness for audits and regulatory reviews. 
  • Champion best practices for continuous improvement across R&D, manufacturing, and support operations; fostering a culture of learning and operational excellence. 
  • Facilitate and lead effective team meetings, cross-functional discussions, and project status updates to promote collaboration, transparency, and timely issue resolution. 

Requirements

  Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Project Manager in hardware, firmware, or technology-driven product development environments, with a proven record of structured planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex technical projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing cross-functional teams to deliver hardware and/or firmware projects on time and within budget using phase-gate methodology.
  • Thorough understanding and hands-on experience with full product development lifecycles, particularly New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Advanced knowledge of project management processes and best practices based on PMI standards, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, stakeholder, and quality management.
  • Direct experience with hardware and/or firmware product development.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including proactive risk management and root-cause analysis.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, skilled at stakeholder management, expectation setting, and      reporting across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment, including situations without direct authority.
  • High initiative, adaptability, and results orientation in dynamic R&D settings.
  • Bachelor’s degree. 

Preferred qualifications:

  • PMP certification highly preferred (CAPM or progress toward PMP also considered).
  • Experience managing distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile as applied to software or subsystem teams, with demonstrated ability to coordinate and adapt where appropriate.
  • Aptitude for learning and applying new technologies (such as AI or automation tools) to enhance project outcomes.
  • 10+ years’ experience in hardware/firmware project management in a technology or industrial product company.
