Minneapolis Glass in Brooklyn Park, MN is looking to hire a full-time Jobsite Delivery Driver to join our Commercial Contract Team. This position earns a competitive union salary starting at $28.72/hr. and eligible for daily overtime after 8 hours. After 12 months in the production role, the salary would be $31.75/hr. This is a first shift operation with a predictable work schedule of 5:00am - 1:30pm. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A JOBSITE DELIVERY DRIVER

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for driving company vehicles to deliver glass and metal materials to the commercial job site. You will load the vehicles (pickups and box trucks) for local deliveries to our glaziers at construction sites. There is a lot prioritizing and organizing to ensure the supplies are where they need to be efficiently. You'll end the workday with cleaning the equipment and tools to prepare for the next days runs.

Attention to detail and accuracy are key to success. These are all local deliveries and no overnight travel is required. There will be occasional opportunities for light metal fabrication and assembly too. Your ideas matter and will be key to continuous improvement for Minneapolis Glass.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of commercial driving experience required.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience with loading and unloading trucks required.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical required.
• Must be physically capable of performing the work with ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted & stand for 8 hours a day.
• Class B CDL preferred.

PAY RATE

Drivers start at $28.72/hr. and progress to $31.75/hr. after 12 months.

WORK SCHEDULE

This delivery driver position is full-time with a schedule of 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM and paid overtime beyond 8 hours daily.
