Position Summary
The Middle School Leadership Advisor is responsible for guiding and mentoring student leaders in developing and implementing activities that promote school spirit, community involvement, and positive school culture. This position provides leadership training, organizes school events, and collaborates with staff and administration to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Advise and mentor members of the student leadership team.
Plan and coordinate school-wide events such as assemblies, spirit weeks, fundraisers, dances, community service projects, and recognition programs.
Facilitate leadership development through workshops, team-building activities, and goal-setting sessions.
Collaborate with administration, staff, and student groups to enhance student engagement and school climate.
Oversee budgeting and fundraising activities; manage leadership accounts in accordance with school and district policies.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding upcoming events and student leadership initiatives.
Promote inclusivity and representation by encouraging diverse student participation and equitable decision-making.
Supervise student leaders during meetings, activities, and off-campus events as needed.
Ensure compliance with school safety guidelines, district policies, and event approval processes.
Model and promote ethical leadership, respect, responsibility, and integrity.
