Overall Purpose of the Job
To supervise the smooth and efficient running of all operations for product line for area of responsibility. Responsible for coordinating
the manpower and technical requirements e.g. the movement of equipment, materials and personnel to ensure actioned in line with
clients’ requirements.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
1. Assess service delivery requirements for each job within assigned location and ensure that the manpower and technical
resources are available to undertake operations in line with client’s requirements
2. Supervise the day to day activities of individuals performing well site work and job planning roles
3. Communicate job specific details, information and conduct pre-job and post job meetings to appropriate service delivery and
support staff
4. Utilise technical and or operational expertise to provide service delivery solutions for customers; order equipment specific to
customer specifications/job requirements
5. Communicate effectively with customers and service delivery staff to resolve service and or delivery issues and irregularities
6. Coordinate the engagement and use of third party services and equipment within assigned location
7. Ensure completion of required documentation and accuracy of data for company procedures, processes and specific client’s
requirements is undertaken
8. Ensure all costs and required information is collated for the invoicing process to ensure their accurate completion in a timely
manner
9. Ensure that the latest revision of documentation is used and outdated versions are removed from circulation; ensure that
operational crews are informed of, and understand any changes to, operations procedures and job planning paperwork
10. Ensure that all incidents and non-conformances are reported in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines;
participate in incident investigations as required
11. Ensure that all 3rd party rental items are tracked to make certain that they are returned to the supplier at the earliest
opportunity
12. Ensure objectives under Employee Development Plan are met.
13. May be required to undertake an on call rota to facilitate 24 hour coverage on operations performance /technical status to
customer, team in the field and internal management when required
14. Liaise with client, operational team, management and internal departments as and when required to ensure all aspects of
the operations are discussed with the relevant parties to ensure effective communication to allow continued safe operations
and task completion within deadlines
15. Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical
standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro’s reputation is minimised. Provide leadership in all ethical
issues; ensure employees are aware of Expro’s compliance requirements and feel able to report possible violations or
conflicts of interest
16. Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes & systems. Take an active
part in quality improvement processes. Act on reported deficiencies and approve deviations from standard procedures as
appropriate
17. Ensure that employees adhere to and comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures
and processes. Provide leadership in HSE; encourage employees to take responsibility and be accountable for their own and
others’ safety and provide an environment where they feel authorised to stop any unsafe job. Ensure that all incidents and
non-conformances are reported in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines; ensure that all incidents are
investigated and corrective actions raised as required; where appropriate, participates in incident investigations
18. Supervise, mentor and coach direct reports and ensure completion of their Employee Development Plans. Where
applicable, ensure that training and competency programs are in place to facilitate the mentoring of subordinates through the
competency system. Conduct competency assessments when required
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
1. Formal technical qualification; 8+ years technical experience within product line including wellsite/field experience
2. Previous Team Leader/Supervisory experience
3. Satisfactory results of all required employment screenings (ie background check, drug/alcohol test, etc).
