Description

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving sales of insulation, adhesives, and HVAC products. This role leverages technical expertise and market knowledge to identify customer needs, deliver tailored solutions, and generate revenue. The position also contributes to marketing initiatives and sales program development. The territory is mainly the Greater Portland region, and the right candidate will be based out of the area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Identify and assess customer requirements to recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Develop and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Manage sales leads and follow up effectively.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technical advancements.
  • Collaborate with sales support to ensure clear customer communication.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations.
  • Create sales and marketing proposals.
  • Set and achieve sales targets and revenue objectives.
  • Represent the company at trade shows as needed.
  • Participate in sales forecasting and strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum two years of sales experience required.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel locally up to 80%, with occasional travel for training or meetings.
