This position plays a vital role in ensuring that the community is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times. This position will be Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm with weekend shifts available.

What You'll Do as an LVMG Floor Technician:
- Perform all floor and carpet care across the campus, including stripping, refinishing, buffing, shampooing, and extracting.
- Clean kitchen and dining area floors on a scheduled (quarterly) basis.
- Assist with the distribution of supplies for the housekeeping and laundry departments.
- Remove trash and waste as assigned.
- Support resident room changes, including moving furniture and cleaning.
- Perform light maintenance tasks as needed.
- Conduct periodic carpet shampooing in residential rooms.
- Provide general cleaning and disinfecting throughout the facility as needed.
- Assist with setting up and breakdown for facility events.

Qualifications
You'll use your:
Education | Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a CCRC is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels, including residents, staff, families, external vendors/authorities, and the public.
- Strong attention to detail in writing, proofreading, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating a cooperative, respectful, and compassionate approach to colleagues and resident care.
- Skilled in the use of standard office equipment and technology.
- Maintains professionalism, composure, and a positive attitude when managing challenging situations.
- Physically able to move throughout the workday and lift items up to 50 pounds using safe handling practices.
