Position: Mental Health Therapist

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health therapy to individuals, families, or groups using evidence-based practices
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Create and implement person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Conduct family therapy or psychoeducation sessions as needed

· Participate as an active member of the entire treatment team by attending Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, collaborating with other staff on clinical impressions, patient needs, provider coverage during absences, etc.

· Timely document all patient care and progress notes to meet compliance and regulatory standards.

· Coordinate/Communicate with administrative office and maintain credentialing with Medicaid, CAQH, as well as any other necessary licensing and insurance providers, as needed.

· Communicate with billing and accounting departments regularly and provide appropriate documentation to ensure billing for all services rendered.

· Optional Clinical Supervisor responsibilities may be assumed upon expansion.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Maryland licensed as LCPC, LCMFT, LCPAT, or LCADC
  • Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and ethical standards
  • Experience in outpatient mental health or co-occurring treatment settings preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English
