This position is starting as a morning only 1/2 day position.
A special education preschool teacher in this classification conducts the educational program for learning disabled children whose needs include support for disabilities which interfere with their ability to learn.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely as a team with all other members of the Special Education Program Staff.
Develop instruction for individual learners, academically and socially, as an ongoing process.
Participate in professional growth activities such as classes, staff meetings, and visitations.
Prepare reports required by the state and/or school corporation.
Plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate the Individual Education Plan of each assigned student.
Participate in all appropriate eligibility and planning meetings.
Perform other related duties as required.
Start Date of January 5, 2026 and run through May 21, 2026
