Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate IV Ketamine Nurse to join our outpatient behavioral health team on a PRN basis. This role is responsible for administering IV Ketamine treatments in a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment. The nurse will provide clinical oversight during infusions, monitor patient safety, and maintain accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is flexible, professional, and comfortable traveling between our Glendale, Scottsdale, and Tempe locations to meet scheduling and patient care needs.
Requirements
? Administer IV Ketamine infusions per provider orders and established protocols.
? Monitor patients throughout treatment for safety, comfort, and response to therapy.
? Document all treatment details, assessments, and observations accurately in the EHR.
? Provide patient education before, during, and after treatments, including post-infusion care instructions.
? Communicate effectively with providers, therapists, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care.
? Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment.
? Support and manage the Ketamine treatment schedule across all sites.
? Collaborate with the clinical team to identify and address patient needs promptly.
? Travel between Glendale, Scottsdale, and Tempe clinics as needed based on patient volume and scheduling demands.
Qualifications
? Active RN or LPN license in the state of Arizona (in good standing).
? IV certification and experience required.
? Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a behavioral health, infusion, or acute care setting preferred.
? Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
? Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
? Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
? Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites
Schedule
? PRN position – flexible scheduling based on clinic needs.
? Must be available to cover shifts at all three locations (Glendale, Scottsdale, Tempe).
