Driver Utility Assistant bei OrthoIllinois

Job Purpose:

The Driver Utility Assistant is responsible for delivering interoffice mail between office locations, delivering support materials for satellite locations, and completing other deliveries and picking up items as required by the organization in a safe and timely manner. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Secures and delivers money bags to the appropriate banking institution

• Picks up and delivers mail

• Delivers supplies to satellite location

• Completes maintenance tickets and requests in a timely matter

• Washes, cleans, and maintains upkeep for the company van

• Follows the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading vehicles

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• At least one year of experience in a similar position and/or performing similar tasks

• Valid IL Driver’s License required

• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft and Google suites

Environmental/Working Conditions: 

Working environment is in an office/clinic setting. 

Physical/Mental Demands:  

• Sit, stand, walk, stoop or kneel, and climb stairs for long periods of time. 

• Requires lifting and carrying heavier objects up to 50 pounds and moving (e.g., pushing, pulling) up to 100 pounds.

• Vision (e.g., depth perception, color vision, strong vision up close), hearing (e.g., high pitch sounds, soft or distant sounds).

• Possess full range of motion in shoulders and arms, including reaching above or below the shoulder.

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle/automobile and power tools.
