RATE OF PAY: $36.50 per hour + shift differential according to policy ($38.50 except PTO) 

 

PROGRAM: Community Mobile Team (CMT) 

 

FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME: Full-Time 

 

LOCATION: 199 S. Central Avenue  

 

WORK SCHEDULE: Fri, Sat, Sun 10a-10p 

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  

This clinician holds a leadership role on the community mobile team (CMT). This position spends over half of their work time assisting in clinical operations of the program under the supervision of the CMT Program Manager. The position will also function as a community mobile team clinician to complete mobile runs as needed.  

 

POSITIONS SUPERVISED (DIRECT REPORTS): 

None 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  1. Provides consultation to staff in the community.
  2. Assesses and appraises risk from both clinical (i.e., risk of harm to self or other) and administrative (i.e., risk of negative outcome) perspectives, consulting with clinical and program leadership as needed. 
  3. Assesses potentially dangerous situations and takes appropriate precautionary measures to ensure client/worker safety.
  4. Maintains timely and complete documentation of services and activities which meet the standards of Netcare and its accrediting agencies.
  5. Performs health officer duties as needed.
  6. Assists the Program Manager with the onboarding of new clinicians and peers.
  7. Completes training in providing supervision to Peer Recovery Support Specialists and assists the manager in the clinical supervision of peers.
  8. Assists the Program Manager in implementing new workflows.
  9. Assists the Program Manager in auditing charts for clinical and administrative accuracy. 
  10. Identifies clinical operations needs and communicates regularly with the manager. 
  11. Acts as a resource for staff questions, whether processing a run or clarifying a workflow.
  1. Adheres to agency policies, procedures, and other expectations.
  2. Performs other related duties as required.

 

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

  1. Ability to quickly build rapport, assess, and prioritize information received.
  2. Ability to relate to clients with a variety of backgrounds -- including but not limited to parameters of age, race, ethnicity, sex, LGBTQ+ status, immigration status, ability to speak English, economic circumstances, educational level, and legal history.
  3. Ability to apply and integrate theory, knowledge, values and practices of social work and/or counseling profession.
  4. Strong ability to identify problems and participate in effective problem-solving solutions.
  5. Ability to teach and communicate workflows and onboarding information to new staff.
  6. Ability and experience in assessment, monitoring and treatment of clients with a variety of psychiatric and SUD conditions.
  7. Ability to perform verbal de-escalation skills.  
  8. Ability to understand, articulate, and apply the dynamics of substance use.
  9. Demonstrated skills in the use of personal computers to record client data, written documentation of client assessment and interventions, correspondence or reports.
  10. Exhibits flexibility and ability to manage multiple demands in unfamiliar and changing environments.
  11. Ability to use a range of treatment techniques and interventions.
  12. Ability to effectively use general business technology (phone, laptop, printer, GPS, maps etc.)
  13. Ability to travel to and perform duties in a variety of community locations requiring physical activities including, but not limited to sitting, walking, climbing stairs, carrying work-related materials, continuously entering and exiting a vehicle, etc. throughout each work shift.
  14. Ability to be fitted with, and wear, a law enforcement grade protective vest (at the standard order size and cost to the corporation).
  15. Ability to run up to 100 yards on sudden notice if necessary 
  16. Basic knowledge of the demographic and human services network in Franklin County.
  1. Ability to interpret and assess data.
  2. Working knowledge of the DSM-5-TR
  3. Training and experience in Trauma Informed Care and with the practice of Motivational Interviewing
  4. Ability to effectively work as a member of a team and as members of the community.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

LSW/LPC;  

LISW/LPCC Preferred.  

Experience with training/teaching preferred.
