Concrete Plant Foreman (Dallas/Fort Worth Area) - Austin Bridge & Road bei None

Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking a Concrete Foreman to be located in our Dallas / Fort Worth area. The concrete Plant Foreman will ensure full operation and supervisory of a concrete plant operation. They will operate a full cycle plant to produce concrete to meet specifications and load and ship material to proper jobs.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance of safety and environmental policies & procedures.
• Conduct daily & weekly safety meetings.
• Communicate with customers, dispatch and paving crews.
• Operate plant to produce concrete to meet specification by confirming with QC/QA technicians.
• Communicate with superintendent and plant manager on issues of the plant.
• Computer knowledge for email communication, quantity tracking, time card entry, daily journal.
• Order materials for daily production needs.
• Load and ship material to proper jobs.
• Maintain plant equipment and housekeeping.
• Work with and trains crew in their different roles.
• Schedule crew work times and positions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry specifically plant operations.
• Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety and be diligent in demonstrating safe work practices

• Experience in supervising crew

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management

• Must be highly organized with an attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Requires working outdoors at times in the rain or snow and during cold, warm, and hot temperatures
• Must be able to work on call as needed
