Reports To: Store Development Manager / Head of Operations 

Employment Type: Salary Exempt

Work Location: Hybrid, Columbus, Ohio. 

Schedule: Primarily M-F, 9-6 (Flex based on Business needs. When not traveling for new store openings, this role will primarily work from Luxe Brands’ Distribution Center/HQ typically three to four days per week. During active store openings, the Operations Coordinator will be on-site to support setup and execution.

Travel Requirements: Up to 50% travel across the United States, including short-notice travel as business needs arise.

Annual Compensation: $55,000–$65,000 base salary.

  • If trained as a Bridal Stylist or supporting appointments, this position is eligible for standard commission, bonuses, and tips.

The Operations Coordinator works in tandem with the Store Development Manager and Operations team to support the execution of new store launches and operations initiates. This includes project planning, task tracking, timeline management, on-site support, and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is energized by travel, highly organized, and excited to be a part of the build, from lease signed to grand opening.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and maintain timelines and task lists for new store openings
  • Communicate and coordinate task responsibilities across departments (Marketing, Inventory, HR, DC), in partnership with the Store Development Manager
  • May serve as the primary on-site lead during store setup and opening
  • Coordinate vendors, deliveries, and contractor schedules (In Tandem with Marketing team) 
  • Ensure merchandising, signage, and FF&E align with brand standards
  • Troubleshoot and solve issues in real-time
  • Track project progress and share updates in tandem with the Store Development Manager and other stakeholders
  • Maintain and improve store opening and operations playbooks, and best practices
  • Provide post-opening support including punch list oversight and operation processes.
  • Offer insight and support in evolving the store development process and documentation
  • Assist with additional store or expansion-related projects as needed



Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Comfortable lifting 45 lbs+ (boxes, mannequins, racks, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to learn to drive our utility/sprinter van
  • Comfortable navigating active retail and warehouse environments
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (short-notice deployment possible)
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

 

Additional Required Qualifications (Internal)

  • Has been with Luxe Brands for 1+ years
  • Proven cross-functional and cross-boutique support experience
  • Includes support through travel, special projects, or setup weeks
  • Strong internal performance, including:
  • Meeting or exceeding KPIs
  • Clear alignment with company core values
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tasks, timelines, and cross-functional communication
  • Additional Required Qualifications (External)
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, retail operations, or store execution
  • Experience leading or managing multi-project timelines
  • Familiarity with the physical setup of retail or commercial environments (e.g., FF&E, merchandising, logistics, or construction-related support)
  • Experience with project management software like Microsoft Project, Asana, Smartsheet. 
  • Comfortable navigating tech software like Microsoft Suite, Adobe.
