Intelink Services provide interagency information sharing, content discovery, and collaboration capabilities on the IC system domains to the IC and its partners in Defense, Homeland Security, Foreign Affairs, and Law Enforcement.
AT&T has an opening for a Windows System Engineer: To support Public Sector Solutions. This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Work to be performed in Laurel, MD.
Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct the Windows Team in Windows server, desktop, and VDI efforts implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining of Windows servers (2016, 2019, and beyond), including the provisioning of a Windows 11 VDI infrastructure for enclave access and program support.
- Provide guidance and direction to junior staff in all aspects of Windows OS tools, and services including MS Exchange, Trellix, custom security tools, etc.
- Lead and participate in executive planning meetings, working groups, briefings, etc. to help guide strategic decisions.
- Manages GPOs, applies security and system patching and coordinates/supports all service leads utilizing Windows servers across the Intelink program.
- Provides hands-on support configuring and managing Windows operating systems installing operating system software, troubleshooting, maintaining and enhancing to improve reliability and performance.
- Must be comfortable in all areas of analysis, design, installation, implementation, configuration, tuning, administration, operation, and security of mid-to-large-tier Windows systems.
- Must be knowledgeable in the following categories: Power shell, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory, Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator, Virtualization and VMWare, and Amazon Web Services.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization and performs system capacity analysis and planning.
- Analyzes and resolves complex problems associated with servers, windows applications, and software integration.
- Provides Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Creates and updates ServiceNow tickets accordingly.
- Escalation and communication of issue resolution status to agency management and internal customers.
- May be required to respond to after-hours requests as required in a 24 x 7 environment.
Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)
Required Qualifications: Twenty (20) years experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAM Level III.
