SummaryThe Inventory Management Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate field inventory balances, supporting the parts requirements of Field Service Representatives, and monitoring supplier performance. This role will work closely with Field Sales and Service Representatives, the Service Support Organization, METTLER TOLEDO North America shipping hub (AM-HUB), and our Masstron facility.Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Complete part ordering through SAP • Monitor existing parts orders and backlog, identify alternative solutions to satisfy service requirements • Expeditiously respond to technician inquiries regarding part pricing, part availability and deliveries • Actively manage technician inventory by determining appropriate safety stock for optimized field inventory levels • Create, monitor and report on Field Service technician part returns • Complete credit/rebill activities as required • Coordinate and process physicals for MT-NA inventory • Work with 3rd party vendor to align physical inventory schedules • Evaluate and execute inventory adjustment requests • Complete warehouse maintenance requests • Create and maintain monthly KPI reporting • Other duties as assigned
