At Mohave College, we’re looking for a dedicated and dynamic Supplemental Instructor in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) who is passionate about educating the next generation of skilled healthcare professionals. If you are a collaborative, student-centered professional with a deep commitment to clinical excellence and student success, we want you on our team.
The ideal candidate is not only a talented sonographer but also a natural mentor and motivator—someone who leads with positivity, embraces innovation, and thrives on making a difference. You’ll be part of a cohesive, mission-driven team that values open-mindedness, adaptability, and the continuous pursuit of improvement in clinical education.
Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and time management are key to success in this role. While teaching experience is a plus, we value your willingness to grow, support others, and lead with integrity above all else.
Join us in shaping the future of sonography—one confident, capable student at a time.
This is a part-time, temporary instructional position working under the supervision of the Lead Instructor and reporting directly to the Program Director. The Supplemental Instructor is responsible for conducting training in various disciplines, following curriculum and course materials, providing hands-on instruction, and assisting with training demonstrations. This position works closely with Faculty and may be asked to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

You embrace innovation and new challenges, adapting quickly to improved teaching methods or technology to elevate student success.
Your communication skills and emotional intelligence allow you to connect with students, colleagues, and clinical partners with empathy and clarity.
You’re highly organized and adept at time management, ensuring that clinical labs, lecture schedules, and student feedback all run smoothly.
