About the role

The Regional Chains Manager is responsible for managing and growing Kerry’s business with assigned regional and emerging foodservice chain accounts across the United States. This role focuses on both defending and expanding existing business, as well as developing new opportunities by delivering innovative taste and nutrition solutions that meet customer needs. The Regional Chains Manager builds strong customer relationships at all organizational levels, develops and executes strategic sales plans, and collaborates cross-functionally to ensure the successful launch and ongoing success of Kerry’s products. This position reports to the Director of National Accounts and plays a key role in achieving Kerry’s growth objectives within the foodservice sector.  Please note that we have multiple openings. Candidates may be based either in the Texas area or on the West Coast for these roles. 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Manage and direct all sales efforts as Account Manager for assigned customers across various U.S. geographies, including oversight of the U.S. portfolio for the global foodservice group.
  • Defend and expand the existing base of customized and branded business at current customers through account penetration and increased menu usage.
  • Develop new and profitable customized and branded business at targeted accounts by identifying value-added solutions to meet customer menu needs.
  • Establish sales market plans and manage sales execution to achieve objectives.
  • Manage spending to ensure delivery of sales results within approved budgets.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships at all levels within assigned chain accounts.
  • Develop customer strategies that address goals, objectives, and company culture.
  • Manage customer agreements to deliver against annual operating plans.
  • Orchestrate all customer opportunities and activities, utilizing appropriate resources to win business.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize the use of all relevant Kerry technologies.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and achievement of annual budgets.
  • Analyze business trends to develop growth strategies and manage the total opportunity pipeline.

Qualifications and skills

 

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is required.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience successfully managing regional and emerging foodservice chains.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and proactive team player.
    • Ability to communicate concisely and timely, both internally and externally.
    • Strong presentation skills.
    • Ability to effectively promote Kerry within the foodservice community.
    • Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
    • Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer and Kerry locations.

The pay range for this position is $123,859.00-$213,784.00Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in roleCompensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each caseThe specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and LocationIn addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensationKerry offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Employee Share Plan, Life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursementThis job posting is anticipated to expire on 12/11/2025.
