Pharmacist
Schedule: this is a full-time role that will work 40 hours/week. This is an inpatient pharmacist role that will work with our general medicine patients.

How you’ll contribute
A Pharmacist who excels in this role:
- Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug related problems.
- Provides drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, patients, and pharmacy students.
- Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.
- Evaluates medication orders for accuracy and completeness prior to order entry. Checks for accuracy after filling by technicians.
- Maintains adequate knowledge of pharmacy automated systems and computer software.
- Accurately and appropriately issues controlled substances to patient care areas. Corrects and attends to all discrepancies with controlled substances as required by law.

What we’re looking for
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and be a licensed pharmacist in the state of New Mexico upon hire. Additional requirements include:
- One to two years as a licensed pharmacist preferred
