Under the overall direction of the Estates Manager, to undertake a range of duties to provide an efficient and effective Premises service across the College campus

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance tasks, including statutory, mandatory, planned preventative and reactive maintenance. Examples of work: Basic Plumbing, Carpentry and Decorating. Assisting in emergency cleaning, graffiti removal. Winter periods can include de-icing the carparks to ensure safe surface for cars and pedestrians.
- To conduct a range of manual handling activities, both individually and as a team member using lifting aids as appropriate.
- To undertake driving duties as and when required in college or hired vehicles.
- Collecting and assembling waste and recycling as appropriate.
- Deal with telephone and personal enquiries, adhoc requests and requirements in line with college requirements.
- Use a flexible approach to perform a wide range of the duties (including working outside your trade area)
- Use and be competent in the use of all relevant cordless and mains electrically powered tools, and equipment within safety guidelines as required.
- To assist with the occasional emergency work as and when requested, including out of normal working hours.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Full UK driving licence held for 2 years.
- Basic Knowledge of Health & Safety issues in connection with Construction Industry.
- Ability to record repairs information relating to repair inspections or completed repair jobs on a computer-based system. CMMS
