About The Position:

The Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, stability, and performance of integrations and workflows supporting our Core banking platform and related systems.  This role manages system jobs and tasks, develops and maintains scripts and automation tools, and monitors integrations to proactively identify and resolve issues.  The Senior Systems Analyst collaborates with internal IT and business partners to implement updates, patches, and upgrades, ensuring systems continue to meet business needs efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop, maintain and enhance integrations and customizations using various development tools, including Automic and Python.
  • Collaborate with business partners to implement patches, updates, and system upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise, identify and document root causes, devise and implement new processes to ensure the overall health and stability of integrations and workflows.
  • Manage the Batch Management platform, including SFTP, MPI and other integrations and access points that support Core system workflows.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for application integrations, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to ensure system reliability and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • Development experience (Python, C++, Java, Git): 5+ years’ experience required 
  • Database experience (SQL, Oracle and/or Snowflake: 3+ years’ experience preferred
  • Information Technology: 7+ years’ experience preferred
  • Financial institution experience is a plus

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficient in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle databases
  • Experience with configuration of job scheduling tools, e.g., Automic
  • Adept at change management processes in support of infrastructure solutions and operational changes
  • Knowledge of basic cybersecurity principles & financial audit requirements

 

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, multiple monitors, mouse, and telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time. You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel.
  • You may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

The Senior System Analyst position can be located in Reno, Nevada.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $70,000 - $97,000 per year
  • Compensation is dependent on experience
  • Medical, dental, and vision plans, where we cover 90% of employee costs and about 75% of the costs for their dependents
