Instructional Paraprofessional, Preschool bei Kokomo School Corporation

Job Site:       Boulevard Elementary School

Hours/Days:   7.5 hours per day

Hourly Rate:   $12.28 per hour

Responsibilities:

Assist Preschool teacher in daily classroom activities.  Work one-on-one and in small groups with preschool students.  Provide remediation support for students.  Support the overall student growth in social, emotional, and kindergarten rediness skills.  Assist with serving breakfast, lunch, and snack daily. Applicant should be able to work well with school staff and students of all ages. Complete other duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

Mandatory FBI fingerprinting background check and other HS requirements. 

High school diploma or equivalent; AND

Have one of the following or willing to obtain to be highly qualified:

• Two-year college degree
• Passed ParaPro Assessment
• 48 credit hours of college level classes; OR
• Childhood Development Associate certificate (CDA)
• Kokomo School Corporation Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Certification
