Student Employment Opportunity: Photographer
**This position is for current Palmer College of Chiropractic students only.
Function:
The photographer work-study is responsible for providing photography services, from shooting to printing, for inner-office and advertising publications.
Organizational Relationship:
-
Responsible to the Director of Marketing and Communications for successful performance of assigned duties.

Assists and advises other departments and College and University system personnel, as necessary, to assure the successful performance of their assigned job duties and the College/University System overall.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Photography campus events/activities

Provide photo services for interoffice and external publications and public relations work

Plan photo schedule for daily activities

File photographs and slides used in Marketing department

Suggest photo ideas

Maintain stock file of photographs

Provide photography services for graduation and other special events

Plan photo schedule for special events
Methods of Accountability:
- Satisfaction of Palmer community with services provided
- Through reports provided to the supervisor
- Compliance with College policies, procedures and expectations
Mental and Physical Requirements: Ability to perform assigned duties with constant interruptions and time pressures

Ability to utilize necessary equipment

Ability to maintain mental concentration for extended periods of time
Education, Training and Experience Required:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus two years
-
Requires two to three years of experience
Student’s length of employment will be from the date of hire until termination either by student or the supervisor not to exceed the student’s graduation from Palmer College.
