Ruppert Landscape is a privately held commercial landscape maintenance and construction company based in Laytonsville, MD. We are hiring for a Landscape Porter to join our Frederick Maintenance team.
Reporting Location: Westview Promenade, Frederick, MD
Hourly Rate: $18-20/hour
Hours: 40-45 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Empty trashcans on site
- Clean a single stall bathroom
- Walk the site to pick up miscellaneous trash/debris
- Dust for cobwebs under store awnings, lamp posts, and window sills
- Operate a backpack blower to blow leaves and debris
- Occasional pressure washing of concrete sidewalks
- Additional tasks per request of manager
Qualifications:
- English-speaking
- Authorized to work in the United States
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) screening
- Able to pass a drug screening
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7 hours per day
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and supervisors
- Provide references from past employment
