JOB TITLE: Student Development Representative

DEPARTMENT: Development

REPORTS TO: Director of Annual Giving

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Student Development Representatives serve as ambassadors for Dordt University—establishing and maintaining strong relationships with supporters via phone, text, and email.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Serve as a Dordt representative to alumni, parents, and friends of the university
• Call, text, and email constituents
• Secure and process gifts to the university
• Keep and update organized records
• Manage and coordinate campaign objectives and materials
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong verbal and aural communication skills
• The ability to think strategically in a fast-paced team environment
• The ability to maintain positivity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• A willingness to learn and become efficient with multi-channel software
