Minimum Qualifications – 

·       Full-Time Availability for the Camping Season Beginning 2 Saturdays before July 4 and ending Labor Day
·       Must be at least 16 years of age
·       Desire and ability to work with in a camp setting
·       Strong attention to detail, cleanliness and follow through
·       Passion for people, a willingness to serve
·       Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control
·       Passion for crafts
 

 



Key Responsibilities

General Responsibility –Program Staff lead and support a variety of camp programs for children, teens, and adults. They facilitate the children’s morning program, afternoon and evening program activities, ensuring engaging and meaningful experiences for all participants.


Responsibilities include:


·       Running structured activities for different age groups throughout the day.


·       Encouraging participation and fostering a fun, inclusive environment.


·       Assisting with setup, facilitation, and cleanup of program areas.


·       Supporting campers of all skill levels and ensuring a positive experience.


·       Communicating effectively with team members and camp leadership.


These roles are ideal for energetic, enthusiastic individuals looking for hands-on experience in program facilitation and community engagement. Program Staff should be comfortable working with diverse age groups and ready to contribute to a close-knit camp environment.

Specific Responsibilities
 
CULTURE
·       Put people first- New and Returning Community Care (Campers, Parents, Families, Alumni, Donors, Staff, Volunteers)
·       Help provide an atmosphere for developing good morale and well-being among the camp community
·       Support our International staff & campers
·       Attention to detail in crafting an excellent experience in all we do
 
SAFETY
·       Support Incident Report management.
·       Maintain and respect community boundaries for a safety
 
These are not the only duties to be performed.  Some duties may be reassigned, and other duties may be assigned as required
 
Essential Functions – 
·       Live onsite during camp season
·       Support approximately 180 campers and 60 staff 6 days per week for 10 weeks
 
Compensation – 
Room and Board in addition to Salary commensurate with experience
