 Job Summary:

The Mechanical Maintenance Reliability Engineer provides oversight of the Plant Mechanical Maintenance Program. The Engineer will seek and develop opportunity to improve equipment reliability through advances in equipment technological advances, inspection techniques, and training. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Focus on equipment reliability opportunities to improve plant onstream factor.

· Oversee and prioritize daily maintenance work order activity in conjunction with onsite maintenance contractor supervision.

· Oversee plant mechanical maintenance PM program in conjunction with onsite maintenance contractor supervision

· Coordinate/execute major equipment overhauls in conjunction with onsite maintenance contractor supervision.

· Oversee Spare Parts Program for mechanical equipment in conjunction with onsite maintenance contractor supervision.

· Coordinate with other contractors to support maintenance activity.

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities: 

· Familiar with ASME code for vessels and piping. 

· Working knowledge in SAP CMMS, Microsoft Excel, MS Projects , ACAD helpful.

· Direct experience with the use of spreadsheet and database software to compile, analyze, and present data

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s      degree in mechanical engineering
• 3      or more years of experience in major equipment preventative maintenance,      equipment repairs and replacements

Physical Requirements: 

· Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to ascend/descend ladders and work up to 160 feet in the air while wearing PPE

· Wear Personal Protective Equipment to work around liquid chemicals, acid fumes, silicon dust and hot equipment 

· Ability to stoop and bend to floor level and squat to access and operate valves, pumps, perform maintenance, etc.

· Ability to work in inclement weather
