About the role
As a DataStage developer, you will make an impact by developing and implementing solutions to support business intelligence initiatives.
You will be a valued member of the Manufacturing & Logistics team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and transformation processes.
In this role, you will:
· Design and implement data warehousing and integration solutions using IBM Infosphere DataStage.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support Transportation and Logistics data needs.
· Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance through testing, validation, and workflow optimization.
· Automate and monitor data processes using scheduling tools; troubleshoot integration issues as needed.
· Document data procedures, support junior developers, and uphold data governance and security standards.
Work model:

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3-4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Parsippany, NJ. What you need to have to be considered:
· Strong grasp of data warehousing concepts and real-world applications.
· Proven expertise in IBM Infosphere DataStage and data integration techniques.
· Experience with scheduling tools to automate and streamline data workflows.
· Domain knowledge in Transportation and Logistics to address industry-specific challenges.
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Salary and Other Compensation
Applications will be accepted until November 21, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $115,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
