We are seeking a Class A Switcher Driver for immediate hire. This role is responsible for safely moving trailers within the yard, performing local deliveries, and ensuring compliance with all DOT and company regulations. 

Key Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of parking stalls.
• Hook and unhook trailers.
• Perform local deliveries as needed.
• Report equipment or mechanical failures immediately to management.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations.
• Maintain truck interior and exterior cleanliness.
• Follow accident procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers.
• Keep accurate records such as vehicle logs and cargo documentation.
• Communicate delays, accidents, or traffic issues via phone or two-way radio.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Active CDL (Class A).
• Ability to read maps and follow written or verbal directions.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
