As an Associate Accounting Analyst, you’ll support our Fuel Accounting team, which is responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reconciling all transactions related to Casey’s fuel operations. This includes retail fuel sales, wholesale fuel distribution, and fuel supply chain activities. The team ensures financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across a complex network of vendors, contracts, and systems.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Systematic Accounting Entries: Perform daily and monthly journal entries and reconciliations. Ensure accurate financial close processes tied to fuel operations.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare various accounting reports as requested by leadership, supporting transparency and decision-making.
• Data Reconciliation: Compare and correct transactional data to ensure accuracy and compliance across systems.
• Process Improvement: Analyze, initiate, and implement best practices and procedures to enhance accounting operations.

Compensation:

Starting pay range:‏‏‎ ‎$54,300‏‏‎ ‎-‏‏‎ ‎$71,300.‏‏‎ Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
