This role must reside in the Chicagoland area due to customer engagement requirements. Remote work is permitted within the Chicagoland region.
WHAT WE NEED
The Director of Sales – McDonald’s is responsible for driving the overall success, growth, and strategic direction of Baldwin Richardson Foods (BRF) with one of our most important customers. This leader will own the customer growth strategy, foster strong senior-level relationships, and guide a high-performing cross-functional team to deliver exceptional results.
Serving as a BRF Ambassador, the Director will proactively engage both internally and externally to advance our partnership and position BRF for continued success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop and execute internal strategies aligned with corporate goals, ensuring BRF consistently meets and exceeds customer expectations.
- Create and implement a Joint Business Plan (JBP) with McDonald’s that includes measurable cross-functional KPIs to drive mutual growth.
- Lead, motivate, and hold accountable a cross-functional team through a clear, results-oriented vision for success.
- Collaborate closely with the forecasting team to support S&OP initiatives, providing timely projections and adjustments as needed.
- Partner with the Chief Customer Officer to ensure alignment of communication, strategy, and messaging across all customer levels and functions.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- 10+ years of progressive sales or account management experience in the food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods industry; prior experience managing McDonald’s or a major QSR customer strongly preferred.
- Strong background in pricing management and negotiation capabilities.
- Experience in building and executing annual plans.
- Proven success leading cross-functional teams and managing large, strategic customer relationships.
- Location Requirement: Must reside in the Chicagoland area due to customer engagement requirements. Remote work is permitted within the Chicagoland region.
