The F&I Producer is responsible for presenting financing options, protection products, and compliance documentation to customers purchasing vehicles. This role ensures every deal is structured properly, meets legal and lender requirements, and provides an exceptional experience for each guest. The ideal candidate is professional, customer-focused, and driven to achieve both performance and customer satisfaction goals in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Present and sell finance and insurance products to customers in a transparent, professional manner.
- Structure vehicle deals for maximum profitability while maintaining compliance with lender and legal standards.
- Secure vehicle financing through approved lenders and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions.
- Accurately complete all paperwork and ensure deal jackets are submitted correctly to accounting.
- Explain and promote extended service contracts, GAP, tire and wheel, and other protection products.
- Review all customer documents and disclosures for accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of lender programs, manufacturer incentives, and dealership policies.
- Achieve and maintain department goals for product penetration, PVR, and CSI.
- Collaborate with sales, accounting, and management teams to ensure a smooth transaction process.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- 2+ years of F&I or automotive finance experience required; dealership experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving high F&I product sales and maintaining compliance standards.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive financing, lender programs, and protection products.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-service skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Knowledge of state and federal compliance requirements (Truth in Lending, Fair Credit, Privacy Act, etc.).
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (Dealertrack, CDK, or similar) and menu-selling software.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
