Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
One of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, IT, or related field, and minimum 1 of the most recent 2 years’ experience in compliance, privacy, or auditing (preferably in healthcare)
- 5 of the most recent 7 years’ experience in compliance, privacy, auditing, healthcare administration, business, public health, IT, or related field (preferably in healthcare)
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
In-depth knowledge of HIPAA Privacy & Security regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Microsoft Access)
Licensure, Registration, Certification:
Active unrestricted Class D U.S. Driver’s License
Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with patient privacy monitoring technologies (e.g., FairWarning, Maize Analytics, Protenus)
Experience with risk assessment methodologies
Experience with requirements under Healthcare Compliance Programs
Licensure, Registration, Certification:
Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) by the HCCA
Responsibilities
Serves as an integral member of the IH Compliance Team by supporting the development, implementation, and execution of the Corporate Compliance Program, including the Corporate Compliance Plan(s), Training Plan(s), and Auditing & Monitoring Plan(s).
